Nestled in the picturesque city of Baguio, Le Vain is more than just a bakery café; it’s a culinary journey to Korea. Since its establishment in 2017, Le Vain has been delighting locals and visitors alike with its authentic Korean breads, pastries, and savory dishes.
Beginnings of Le Vain
This quaint Korean Bakery Cafe has been operating at Outlook Drive since 2017. The Korean owner shared that the inspiration came from the difference in taste and texture between Korean and Philippine pastries. “Korean pastries often use fresh cream, resulting in a lighter and less sweet flavor profile. The bread varieties in Korea are also more diverse and have a softer texture. I wanted to share these unique flavors with the people of Baguio City.”
A Taste of Korea in the City of Pines
Le Vain’s commitment to quality and authenticity shines through in every bite. The bakery offers a wide range of Korean-inspired pastries, from soft and fluffy breads to decadent cakes. Their breads are particularly noteworthy, with a light and airy texture that’s perfect for any occasion.
Le Vain’s Signature Cakes
Le Vain constantly strives to offer unique and delicious treats to their customers, thus, creating signature cakes allows them to showcase their creativity and provide one-of-a-kind experiences. Le Vain shared,“We believe that these unique creations, infused with our signature style, can truly set us apart.” Le Vain’s Signature Cakes boasts nothing but the best, imported & local ingredients, fresh fruits, home made fresh cream, with NO PRESERVATIVES, as they say on their Facebook page posts which I for one can attest that their cakes are truly one of a kind and I love the simplicity of the fresh cream with every bite.

Tiramisu Basque Cheese: This one is my favorite so far. It’s a smooth, melt-in-your-mouth dessert that is not too sweet!

- Le Vain Cloud Latte: A heavenly blend of coffee and foam.
- Caramel Macchiato: A rich and satisfying coffee drink.
- Beef Bulgogi Sandwich: A flavorful and filling meal.
- Kimchi Bokum Rice: A spicy and savory rice dish.
I really love that they expanded their menu and there are options for savory Korean dishes! The Beef Bulgogi Sandwich for me is my favorite so far. It has generous filling and it’s a perfect to-go snack or dining in. While the Le Vain Cloud latte is an exceptionally refreshing drink!
A Pet-Friendly Cafe
One of the many reasons we love Le Vain is its pet-friendly al fresco dining area. We recently brought our furry friends, Stella and Mitsui, to enjoy the delicious treats and cozy atmosphere. While there are more seats inside the cafe, they still have 2 tables and a few more chairs outside to cater fur parents and furry pets!

In addition to their dine-in offerings, Le Vain also has a fantastic selection of pasalubong items. Their wide range of breads and pastries is perfect for gifting or for a quick snack on the go.

Sandwiched in between our Mammoth Bread with Redbean, Chestnut and Walnuts, are layers of Strawberry Jam & Blueberry Jam, Castella, Buttercream and Chestnut.
It comes in both regular Mammoth Bread and our Mugwort Dough! We tried it at home and it’s such a perfect and filling snack, a good pair with my bittersweet coffee.
Espresso bread bun (I love this, best for coffee lovers), Toasted Garlic Bread- this is a great snack as well, buttery and garlicky, the bread is toasted also.
